چکیده
The effects of humic acid on plant yield, essential oil content, the composition and antimicrobial activity Origanum vulgare L. subsp. hirtum (Link.) (cv. Tinmaz) cultivated in 2017 2018 under Eskisehir ecological conditions were evaluated. Three (HA) doses response to 50.0 L ha?1 (HA 50), 30.0 30) 0.0 0, as control) applied soil at vegetative stage beginning blooming throughout each harvest both years. Essential was determined using GC-FID/GC-MS. antibacterial antifungal by well-diffusion method. Fresh herb dry yield leaf highest HA 50 years, although content increased 30, but greatest second year. differences between control dose 0.46% 0.42% 2018, respectively. samples against two bacteria species (Enterococcus faecalis Staphylococcus aureus) yeast (Candida albicans Candida parapisilosis) generally higher than that drugs, with increasing doses. Analysis components showed carvacrol ?-Terpinene ratios ha?1. Soil applications could be recommended for quality, hirtum.

Chemical composition and antimicrobial activity of the essential oils from three chemotypes of Origanum vulgare L. ssp. hirtum (Link) Ietswaart growing wild in Campania (Southern Italy).
Essential oils obtained from inflorescences of three Origanum vulgare L.ssp. hirtum (Link) Ietswaart samples, growing wild in different locations in Campania (Southern Italy), were analysed. Three chemotypes were found: the first, with a prevalence of carvacrol/thymol; the second, characterized by the prevalence of thymol/alpha-terpineol; the third, featuring a prevalence of linalyl acetate and...

Background and Objectives: Essential oils are very complex mixture of components and their composition may vary in different species or varieties or even within the same variety. Origanum vulgare L. subsp. vulgare is one of the most distributed subspecies within the genus Origanum and has been found to be a poor-oil, categorized in cymyl, bornane or sabinyl chemotypes with higher proportion of ...
متن کاملHerb yield and chemical composition of common oregano (Origanum vulgare L.) essential oil according to the plant’s developmental stage
The studies conducted in 2007–2008 were aimed to assess how the developmental stage of common oregano affected the quality and quantity of the herb yield. The field experiment was established with the use of random blocks in four repetitions. Oregano was grown from seeding produced in a greenhouse. Herbage harvest of one-year-old plants was conducted before flowering, in budding phase, at the b...

متن کاملOriganum vulgare subsp. hirtum essential oil prevented biofilm formation and showed antibacterial activity against planktonic and sessile bacterial cells.
Essential oils from six different populations of Origanum vulgare subsp. hirtum were compared for their antibiofilm properties. The six essential oils (A to F) were characterized by a combination of gas chromatography with flame ionization detector and gas chromatography with mass spectrometer detector analyses. All oils showed weak activity against the planktonic form of a group of Staphylococ...
